Avenue R @ 45th Street

Avenue R in Galveston is a 1930's build that was recently rehabbed and immediatly listed as a short-term rental. Avenue R is 5 blocks from the Galveston Seawall and Galveston Bay. The rehab was a complete rehab both internally and externally including foundation relevel, new roof, windows and paint. Internally the bathrooms were completely relocated and all new tile and glass shower enclosures installed. The kitchen and dining were redesigned to allow for larger parties and get togethers. The home sleeps 11 comfortably and has all the amenities needed for an island stay.

The most valuable find on this house was the hardwood floors that were included as the homes original build. After rehab was complete, the floors were meticiculously repaired were needed and then sanded and refinished to give them the beautiful original look and feel. Although the house is 5 5 blocks from the beach, a Bohemian theme was found to be highly appropriate for this 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home.

Avenue K Midtown Galveston

Avenue K Midtown Galveston was primarily a cosmetic rehab except for a complete redesign of the kitchen. To update this home the cosmetic upgrades included new floors, doors and tile and cabinets in the bathrooms. The kitchen was gutted and a minor redesign of the counter space was needed to allow for more seating and coutner space. This house was the first short-term rental in our inventory and the schedule was quickly filled during all of 2022.

Avenue N 1/2 at 37th Street

Avenue N 1/2 was our third Galveston Island Flip of 2021. This soft blue shotgun style home was quietly nestled in the middle of the block. Avenue N 1/2 was a single bedroom one bathroom when we purchased the home. A second bedroom was added to give this home a 2 bedroom 1 bath island getaway. The kitchen was completed upgraded and opened up to give an open concept from the living area to the kitchen. After rehab was completed and the house was listed we received a generous offer from a local investor who immediately listed the house as a short-term rental.

After a few easy modifications, the bathroom was transformed from a single sink and small shower to a double vanity and full size walk-in shower. Wall tile was removed and fabricated shiplap was installed over sheetrock to give the bathroom a fresh and inviting new look.
The kitchen cabinets were removed and fresh soft close doors and custom quartz countertops were added with soft tile back splash. Fresh floors gave this kitchen and home a new look after dividing walls were removed between the kitchen and the living area.
